Job Description
The Information Technology Systems Manager reports to the Head of the Information and Communication Technology Unit and is responsible for installing, maintaining, and monitoring all activities and functions of the network and resources. Evaluate the needs of the company and provide new IT solutions and processes, plan and analyze resources and costs related to hardware and software supplies for the OPIS information system, and manage domains, accounts, and related issues. The manager is also responsible for supervising the activities of the IT Systems Architect and Services Desk Operator. What you'll be doing : Assess the needs of the company and provide new IT solutions and processes; Plan and analyze resources and costs related to hardware and software supplies for the OPIS information system; Manage domains, accounts, and issues related to them; Plan and ensure proper backup procedures; Install, maintain, and monitor all network activities and resources; Ensure all installed software is licensed and has maintenance/assistance contracts; Support contract negotiations to meet required service levels, establishing problem resolution procedures; Ensure data security against internal and external threats; Train staff on specific aspects of the information system; Maintain all documentation regarding the information system; Manage new projects, maintenance of existing systems, and system operations; Diagnose and resolve problems such as poor performance or system failures, ensuring service levels meet agreed standards and needs for quality, security, availability, and safety; Discuss system changes and their impact with the Head of ICT and the IT Systems Architect; Evaluate design enhancements, capacity changes, contingency, and recovery arrangements based on operational requirements; Review costs with external providers, consider new developments, and propose network design changes for cost reduction and benefits; Obtain and evaluate proposals from equipment, software, and network service providers; Participate in audits and inspections related to ICT systems; Perform duties as a System Administrator. What you have : High School diploma in information technology or related scientific fields; At least 3 years of relevant work experience; In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows installation, configuration, and maintenance; Knowledge of networking issues; Experience managing network services such as mail servers, web servers, domains, Active Directory, firewalls, routers, and backups; Fluent in English; Planning and organizational skills; Leadership and communication skills; Result-oriented mindset; Teamworking skills.
