You will use your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can address complex data challenges faced by our customers. Join us in transforming how data is used and making a positive impact in the world! You will report to the Director of Field Engineering, leading the Emerging Business team. Location : Milan The impact you will have : Build strong relationships with clients in your territory to deliver technical and business value, collaborating with Account Executives and the Field Engineering team. Engage clients with hands-on evaluations and Spark programming, integrating with cloud ecosystems and third-party applications. Contribute to the Databricks technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups. Advise on Big Data Analytics architecture and design. Support customers by creating reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications. Develop your skills to become an independent Solutions Architect, both technically and in pre-sales activities. What we look for : Experience working with clients to craft narratives, answer questions, and align interests to achieve tangible results. Ability to deliver technical proposals independently, identify customer pain points, and communicate business value, developing trusted advisor skills. Experience coding in languages such as Python, SQL, or Java, with a willingness to learn Spark. Knowledge of Big Data Analytics, with exposure to proofs-of-concept and major public cloud platforms. Experience in solution architecture and design. Notes on mandatory requirements : Must be located in the Milan region or within a commutable distance for hybrid work. Fluency in Italian is required.
