Electrical Technician

San Clemente Palace Venice is looking for an Electric Technician. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electric Technician based in Venice. The Electric Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure continuous system operation, performing daily electrical tasks, and maintaining machinery and equipment throughout the hotel. Your Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve electrical problems to maintain uninterrupted system operation. Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs. Maintain hotel equipment including laundry, kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, generators, lighting, and security systems. Use electrical testing tools to identify faults. Conduct preventive maintenance according to quality standards. Assist with fire protection equipment placement and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Monitor hotel emergency and fire alarm systems. Properly store and handle electrical equipment and tools. Report supply issues and deficiencies, and resolve them promptly. Keep records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical faults. Assist hotel staff and guests courteously. Maintain and repair guest room and public area equipment. Ensure safe storage and use of tools and equipment. Participate in safety trainings and adhere to safety protocols. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and report progress. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions. Follow hotel health and safety regulations and emergency procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Fluent in Italian and English. Graduated from a technical school in electrical, electronics, refrigeration, HVAC, or plumbing, or hold vocational qualifications in these fields. Knowledge of electrical/electronic equipment and control systems. Basic mechanical skills in plumbing and carpentry. Ability to work independently and responsibly. Proficiency with relevant technical tools and equipment. Teamwork skills and willingness to learn. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
