Role & Responsibilities Design and develop a platform that collects billions of data points from social channels every month. Participate in all phases of product development, including analyzing user requirements, designing system architecture, coding, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with BA and Technical Lead on Social Listening product development. Coach junior developers in technology and quality control. REPORT TO : Data Leader / Technical Director Promotion Opportunities Potential promotion to Principal Engineer or Technical Architect (Technical roadmap). Potential promotion to Data Leader or Product Manager (Management roadmap). Technical Requirements 4 years of experience working with backend services, including 2 years developing in NodeJS and relevant frameworks. Experience with crawling large amounts of data from sources like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and online news articles is a plus. Strong OOP and coding principles, good knowledge of design patterns and architectural patterns. Experience designing and implementing database systems with integrity, scalability, performance, reliability, and security. Experience with full-text search engines such as Solr or Elasticsearch is a plus. Experience using message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka. Experience with Redis, MySQL, and NoSQL databases. Good knowledge of Linux environment. Other Requirements Applicants must hold a degree in computer science, ICT, or software engineering with good academic standing. Previous experience in project management or supervisory roles is advantageous. Experience with development tools such as Jira and Wiki is advantageous.
