Senior Legal Manager

We are seeking a Legal Senior Manager to oversee legal affairs and manage external counsel, based in our Italian subsidiary. Position: Senior Legal & Contract Manager Department: Legal (Energy sector) Location: Milan Contract Type: Full-time – Permanent Reporting to: Head of the Legal Team About Us We are a leading EPC company in engineering, procurement, and construction of large-scale photovoltaic plants, supporting clients throughout the solar project lifecycle with a sustainable approach. Role Overview The Senior Legal Manager will oversee legal compliance, manage contractual frameworks (EPC, O&M), handle regulatory and permitting issues, legal due diligence, corporate governance, and litigation. The role involves leading a small legal team and coordinating with external law firms. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the internal legal team and external counsel. Draft, negotiate, and review complex contracts, including EPC, O&M, land lease, purchase agreements, rights of way, surface rights, joint ventures, NDAs, and framework agreements. Support project development, permitting, engineering, and finance teams with legal advice. Manage legal due diligence for greenfield and brownfield projects and project financing. Oversee legal aspects of partnerships. Monitor regulatory developments in energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. Handle disputes and litigation, including arbitration. Requirements MANDATORY: 3-5 years of legal experience in EPC, IPP, photovoltaic energy, utilities, or top-tier law firms in the energy sector. Strong knowledge of commercial, civil, administrative, and energy law. Experience in international contracting and leading legal teams. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects. What We Offer Dynamic, fast-growing international environment.
