Junior Cybersecurity Engineer / Analyst

Overview Position contingent upon contract award SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Junior Cybersecurity Engineer / Analyst to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR). Essential Job Duties Assist in monitoring security measures for networks and information. Support efforts to meet cybersecurity standards. Help with basic cybersecurity incident response tasks. Assist in the operation of logging systems. Learn to evaluate security tools and understand security policies. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or AA with 2 years of experience, or high school with 4 years of relevant experience. An active in scope Secret security clearance. DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 461 Certs: CND or SSCP or equivalent. Additional Certifications: CEH. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to follow processes, procedures, and direction to support client needs. Work Environment Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations. Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700 May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
