Job Description

Metromont Corporation is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in precast concrete construction. This role involves utilizing engineering principles to design and supervise the construction of durable pre-engineered buildings and structures, ensuring both innovation and reliability in every project delivery. Design structural components for complex precast concrete structures ensuring compliance with architectural intentions and safety standards. Perform detailed calculations and analysis presenting design options and recommendations for structural systems. Collaborate with architects and construction managers to discuss project specifications and resolve design and development issues as they arise. Create and review structural documents and reports maintaining clear and effective communication with relevant stakeholders. Ensure project feasibility through logistical and financial assessments considering project budget and timeline constraints. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards, adapting processes as required. Proficiency in industry-standard structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, REVIT, STAAD.Pro). Strong understanding of construction methods and the properties of materials, specifically precast concrete. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational and project management skills.
