Construction Project Manager

Dorsett Controls is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee projects focusing on the integration of electrical control systems within construction environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, specifically in construction and automation of electrical systems, delivering solutions that optimize operations and ensure reliability and efficiency in various industrial settings. Lead project planning sessions to ensure the complete scope and expectations are understood by all stakeholders and team members. Manage the coordination and integration of electrical control systems into construction projects. Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget, while meeting quality standards. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other construction and project stakeholders to gather requirements, develop schedules, and resolve issues. Supervise on-site contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and code requirements. Conduct regular project meetings and provide detailed updates to internal teams and external clients on project progress. Perform risk management to minimize project risks and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and laws. Manage and track project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures. Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry regulations. Proficiency in the use of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and lead diverse teams in high-pressure environments. Technical expertise in electrical systems, automation, and industrial control systems.
