CLINICAL THERAPIST

The Alliance for Children's Rights is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Los Angeles. This role involves providing therapeutic support and intervention to abused and impoverished children and young adults, aiming to facilitate their healing and development through a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs and circumstances. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to understand client needs and history. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique situation. Provide psychotherapy sessions to clients using appropriate therapeutic models and interventions. Collaborate with legal staff, educators, and other professionals to advocate for the client's rights and best interests. Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Participate in training, supervision, and meetings to ensure best practices in mental health treatment. Engage families and caregivers in the treatment process to ensure a supportive environment for our clients. Strong background in clinical psychology or social work, with expertise in trauma-informed care. Ability to build trust and rapport with children and young adults from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Proficient in case management software and documentation.
