Job Description

Plasser American Corporation, a leader in railway construction and maintenance equipment manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Parts Sales Support member to assist our sales team in Chesapeake, VA. This role focuses on supporting the sales of parts and components critical to the railroad maintenance industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and parts management, coupled with excellent customer service skills, to ensure that client needs are met efficiently and effectively. Assist in the processing of customer orders for spare parts and ensure timely delivery. Maintain records of transactions and customer interactions for follow-up. Provide technical assistance and support to customers, helping them select the correct parts for their needs. Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure inventory is stocked and orders are fulfilled. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts sales. Prepare quotes and sales agreements according to company guidelines. Collaborate with the sales team to meet monthly and annual sales targets. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry developments and new product offerings. Proficiency in inventory management software and CRM systems. Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
