Job Description
EzBel Construction, a leader in both home renovations and large-scale construction projects, is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, and that their benefits are administered effectively. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in payroll processing, and committed to providing excellent internal customer service while handling sensitive information. Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and troubleshooting. Maintain and update payroll records and employee files, including leaves, increases, and personal information. Liaise with external benefits providers and manage benefits renewal processes. Assist in the compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare payroll reports for management and audit purposes. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll and benefits processes. Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks Payroll) Strong understanding of payroll and benefits legislation and best practices Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
