Knight Office Solutions is seeking a skilled Controller to oversee the financial operations within our dynamic and innovative IT environment. This role is vital for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic budget management to support our goals in managed print services and network support. The successful candidate will bring expertise from the IT industry, applying strong analytical skills to optimize our financial health and contribute directly to our continued success and growth. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare financial reporting Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and monitor support systems to report financial performance Advise on long-term business and financial planning Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes Advanced knowledge of accounting software and systems Proficient in risk management and industry regulatory standards Excellent analytical, decision-making, and management skills Strong understanding of business and financial principles Ability to strategize and solve problems Strong leadership and communication skills Deep understanding of data analysis and forecasting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
