FIELD CONTROLS ENGINEER

Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., a leader in end-of-line packaging solutions and robotics, is seeking a skilled Field Controls Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on enhancing case packing and palletizing systems through innovative engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will be involved in the entire lifecycle of product development from concept and design to installation and troubleshooting. Design, develop, and optimize control systems for packaging equipment Implement and configure software for PLCs and HMIs Provide onsite installation and technical support to ensure systems are operational and meet client needs Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues with existing control systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, including system designs, test results, and installation procedures Ensure all engineering projects are in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations Proficiency in PLC programming and configuration Strong understanding of HMI design and configuration Experience with servo systems and motion control Knowledge of electrical system design and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
