Area Sales Manager

Gellert Global Group, a leader in the North American specialty foods sector, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations within a specific geographic area. This role is pivotal in strategizing and executing sales plans to meet our business objectives, fostering relationships with retailers, and enhancing product outreach in the consumer market. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the food and beverage market trends and demonstrate a proven track record in sales growth and team leadership. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with retailers and other key industry players. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives, effectively propose products and services to meet those needs. Analyze market trends and results to determine customer needs, volume potential, and pricing schedules that will meet company goals. Coordinate with the marketing department to drive lead generation and awareness through campaigns and promotions. Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to drive business growth, providing performance feedback and career coaching. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts on the region's sales performance. Manage and negotiate contracts with clients ensuring compliance with company standards.
