Senior Structural Engineer

Metromont Corporation, a leader in precast concrete construction, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Engineering & Architecture department. This position is crucial for ensuring the structural integrity and innovative execution of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring expert knowledge of structural engineering principles and a proven ability to apply them to real-world precast construction challenges. Design and analyze structural components of precast concrete buildings, ensuring compliance with national and local codes. Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers and drafters. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams including architects, contractors, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions. Review and approve structural design documents and calculations. Oversee construction projects from design through completion ensuring structural soundness. Continually update knowledge of technological advancements and industry trends. Provide technical guidance during the preparation of drawings and specifications. Conduct site visits and structural inspections as required. Manage project resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Expert knowledge of structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000. Strong understanding of precast and prestressed concrete design and analysis. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong leadership and project management abilities. Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
