Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in our dynamic healthcare team, you will assist in implementing patient treatment programs set forth by physical therapists in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. You will facilitate direct patient care, ensuring that therapy is provided in a way that is consistent with patient's needs and capabilities. Assist the physical therapist in evaluating the condition of patients based on their needs and capabilities. Implement therapeutic plans and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist. Document patient responses and progress, and report the outcome to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and strategies. Maintain a clean and safe environment for therapy sessions. Participate in patient care meetings and suggest modifications or improvements to therapy plans. Strong understanding of physical therapy principles, theories, and application. Ability to operate standard physical therapy equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer and software skills for documentation purposes. Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
