Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. The Development & Validation Test Engineer leads development programs and related applications for DCT & eDCT (hybrid transmission). His responsibilities to ensure the final assessment of transmissions at end of validation plan (vehicle & bench) and provided results according to pass/fail criteria properly defined by the test procedures. Then – together with Validation Engineer in DV&C team – the DV&C-TE supports to define proper validation plan at system level according to reliability target requirements He / She is responsible to achieve the first level of diagnosis, finalize the root cause and support team to identify ICA/PCA for issues occurred in the during development & field The Test Engineer reports to DV&C responsible and supports the team for Validation Sign Off to meet validation KPIs for program release He/ She collaborates strictly with design department and other development teams (Vehicle, Chief, Calibration): regional and global MAIN ACTIVITIES Develop and execute the System level DVP for make transmission design changes Manage DVP documentation Execute/coordinate dyno durability & functional testing, and some short-term durability testing application related Issue test report for DRBTR implementation Develop performance target setting and pass/fail criteria Support test preparation for various supporting test groups Support in triage trans related issues occurring in various fleets, including development vehicles, durability/reliability vehicles and fast feedback to improve customer satisfaction and meet quality metrics Play the lead role in RCA related GIMS/PLM, play supporting role in corrective action identification. Support Transmission Assembly plant (EOL test procedure) Generate draft test plans to establish cost and timing for bulletin response roll-ups Maintain Technical Infrastructure documentation, including DVP templates and Test Procedures Support TDL Val manager for make transmission application programs in: Vehicle Assembly plant End-of-Line rolls testing Hardware characterization and protection limit values Release oil fill process specifications for Transmission and Vehicle Plant procedures Edit / approve Owner’s Manual, Service Manual & Diagnostics Manual documentation REQUIREMENTS A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Vehicle A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field (validation / testing area) Good knowledge on transmissions & related components Ability to author system level requirements Good knowledge on STLA development process Ability to define system validation in vehicle or bench Ability to analysis data from vehicle or bench Required skills for calculation tool (Matlab, Excel) Strong interpersonal communication Strong proactivity and problem solving At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
