DESIGN ENGINEER - GEARBOX COMPONENTS & SYSTEMS - AVIATION DOMAIN Quest Global, a global leader in diversified engineering solutions, is seeking a Design Engineer for Gearbox Components & Systems in the Aviation Domain, based in the Turin area. This role involves becoming an expert on gearbox components, focusing on product and production improvement within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include: Managing Quality Notifications for gearbox components. Supporting design activities related to production investigations. Contributing to component design to meet performance, manufacturability, cost, and durability goals. Collaborating with internal departments and suppliers to enhance producibility and manufacturability. Preparing technical documents such as models, drawings, reports, and specifications. Assisting System Engineers in root cause investigations and resolving field issues. Required Skills: Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. Proficiency with CAD (e.g., Unigraphics NX) and FEM/CAE tools (e.g., Ansys). Knowledge of metallic materials and mechanical design fundamentals. Understanding of machining processes. Excellent communication skills in English and Italian. EU citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
