What You’ll Be Doing Designing and managing golden images for Debian-based systems Building and maintaining high-availability on-prem virtualization platforms (VMware ESX and Nutanix) Architecting and optimizing AWS-based environments for internal applications and IT workloads Designing secure cloud architectures using AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Route53) Implementing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform across cloud and hybrid setups Ensuring seamless interoperability between AWS and on-prem environments Operating core infrastructure services including Grafana, Syslog, MySQL, and AWX/Ansible Tower Integrating observability and centralized logging solutions across environments Collaborating with developer teams to deliver robust CI/CD platforms Administering and optimizing GitLab Runners and pipeline efficiency (cloud and on-prem) Designing secure, scalable, environment-aware pipelines Developing modular infrastructure primitives and contributing to our internal service catalog Driving DevOps automation and promoting self-service operations Maintaining infrastructure metadata in NetBox and integrating it with CI/CD workflows What You’ll Bring Along Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Linux system administration and infrastructure architecture (Debian preferred) Hands-on expertise with VMware ESX or Nutanix cluster environments Proven track record in architecting and managing AWS workloads Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and AWX/Ansible Tower Deep knowledge of GitLab CI/CD tooling and pipeline optimization Experience with Grafana, Syslog/Graylog, and MySQL/MariaDB Solid understanding of hybrid (on-prem cloud) infrastructure strategies Familiarity with NetBox as a CMDB and integration point Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) Background in implementing secure, compliant AWS environments Familiarity with Agile methodologies and service design Scripting fluency in Python and/or Bash Experience in building developer portals or internal platform services Excellent command of both spoken and written English Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at NTT DATA Europe & Latam by 2x Get notified about new Infrastructure Architect jobs in Ro, Emilia-Romagna, Italy .
