Purpose of the job: The Industrialization Engineer is responsible for industrializing maintenance, renovation/modernization, and warranty activities to ensure the delivery of maintenance and production. Responsibilities: Lead the industrialization of technical documentation, respecting the Standard Manufacturing Process & Standard Manufacturing Line guidelines, footprint. Develop industrial deliverables: Macro-process, Work Instructions, workstation layouts, Bill of Material, Task Sequence, Standard Operations Sheet, Work Instructions, Method times, layouts. Provide inputs for industrial means and tools requirements for project execution. Define and implement training plans related to industrial topics and Special Processes. Validate industrial deliverables, tools, and means on-site with maintenance execution (FAT). Adhere to Industrial Planning milestones (IMFU). Support the implementation of APSYS (Alstom Performance System) related to the Industrial Roadmap. Ensure compliance with Railway Safety, EHS, and AZDP standards. Implement process improvements for efficiency, quality, safety, ergonomics, and continuous improvement. Adapt processes and deliverables during project lifecycle events such as design changes, obsolescence, and fleet extensions. Participate in Control Change Board reviews to enhance safety, performance, and quality. Requirements: 2 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in the railway industry, ideally in an international organization. Ability to read schematics and drawings. Experience in Methods Engineering, writing and improving work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing. Experience with ERP systems like SAP for Bill of Materials, Routings, and Configuration follow-up. Knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards. Proven ability to innovate and manage change. Excellent teamwork skills and stakeholder engagement at various levels. Strong organizational and planning skills. Willingness to learn and grow. Fluent in English and Italian. The position is based in Sesto San Giovanni (Milano) and serves as the industrialization reference point for the Regional & Loco Business Unit in Italy. Travel up to 50% to maintenance depots or other Alstom sites is required.
