Informatics Software Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary Job Function As an Informatics Software Engineer, you will contribute to building the next release of product features and system design. This role involves working on both front-end user experience and robust platform services. A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills is essential. Core Job Responsibilities Analyze customer needs, design, and develop software work products. Create and maintain documentation for SDLC artifacts. Develop high-performance, scalable, and secure applications. Ensure continuous improvement of informatics applications. Ensure compliance with the ADD Informatics Quality system. Plan, execute, and track projects. Occasional travel may be required. Position Accountability/Scope Design and develop informatics products in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Assist with the design and implementation of features. Operate in Scrum-based development teams. Interact with project managers, product owners, and R&D leadership. Work as part of cross-functional teams. Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in a startup or mid- to large-sized corporation. Experience with Embarcadero Delphi. Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle preferred). Understanding of OOP and contemporary design patterns. Familiarity with unit, integration, and functional testing, source control (Git preferred), and good software engineering practices. Experience in healthcare or life sciences applications is a plus. Additional experience with Python, RESTful APIs, containerized applications, AWS, Unix/Linux, mobile development, distributed systems, networking, large software systems, and security software development is a plus.
