TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Home Health RN in O Fallon, Illinois, 62269! Pay Information $2,352 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience, depending on the specialty. License: Must have license in hand. Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in OASIS - Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR, used within the last 6 months Description: Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures. Competence in the application of the nursing process is essential. Responsible to clinical manager and directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits and periodic office meetings are required. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day equating to roughly 6-8 points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. First-timers are not accepted; recent specialty experience is required. Weekend requirements will vary per location and profession. Monthly on-call duties are required, including holidays. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient's appointment. Clinician must accept every patient on their schedule regardless of location.
