PMO Director

An established international business operating at the forefront of silicon and SoC development is seeking an experienced PMO Director to lead and evolve its project management function across the organisation. This is a senior leadership position, accountable for aligning project delivery with strategic business goals, establishing governance across a complex matrix of engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders, and ensuring high quality execution through the internal PMO. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning – Define and lead company-wide project management strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organisational objectives. Project Governance – Implement best-in-class governance frameworks, ensuring engineering quality assurance standards are met and consistently applied. Performance Monitoring – Track project performance using metrics and KPIs, and drive decisions around prioritisation and resource allocation. Resource Management – Manage a team of Project Managers across multiple product lines, proposing resource distribution to maintain delivery efficiency and technical excellence. Stakeholder Engagement – Foster collaboration with engineering, product, sales, and applications teams, maintaining alignment and resolving cross-functional issues. Change Management – Support the organisation in adapting to internal and external change, enabling smooth project transitions and stakeholder readiness. Experience and Background: Project management experience in silicon hardware or EDA environments. Prior engineering experience in digital SoC design, verification, or physical implementation. Proven leadership of project teams in a technical environment, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Fluency in French is essential, alongside professional-level English. PMP Certification is required. Additional Information: Hybrid working: up to 2 days remote per week, following a 3-month probation.
