Control & Reporting Accountant

Location: Mexico City Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM About the role Join our Corporate Control North America team — a center of excellence supporting all client divisions in the US and Canada. You’ll be part of the Accounting Services Group (ASG) , focusing on project accounting for our IT Division. Your work will keep our financial records accurate, transparent, and audit-ready, supporting everything from software development projects to global information security initiatives . What you’ll do Own the month-end close process: prepare and process journal entries (IT cross-charges, prepaid amortizations, accruals, etc.). Make sure every expense (capital & operational) follows GAAP and policies. Guide Project and Finance Managers with accounting insights across project lifecycles. Analyze financial statements and spot trends, issues, or opportunities. Support the Annual Operating Plan and Out-of-Plan project releases. Perform SOX controls for capital spend, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets. Fix misclassified data and keep IT project accounting clean. Jump in on ad-hoc projects that need quick, accurate accounting support. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. 2 years in accounting or finance. Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas). Strong grasp of accounting principles and data reconciliation. Confident decision-maker with good judgment. Clear, collaborative communicator. Bonus points if you have Experience with SAP General Ledger & Project Systems. CPC certification or currently pursuing it. Why join us?
