GENERAL MANAGER FRANCE – Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea)

Our client, a multibillion-dollar international group, is one of the world’s largest logistics companies. We are looking for a seasoned freight forwarding expert with 10–15 years of experience in general management roles, ready to take on a strategic and commercial leadership position to develop the French branch of the group. Key Responsibilities: Proven success in generating revenue and driving business growth in client-facing roles (sales, business development , account management) Strong understanding of financial metrics, including P&L management Oversee the financial performance of the branches Communicate the strategic plan, financial results, and performance metrics to teams, and adjust strategies as needed Ability to lead multi-site operations across France Excellent negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills Experience managing both direct teams and cross-functional teams Broad knowledge of the freight forwarding market and industry (air & ocean) Fluent in French and English (applications and interviews will be conducted in English) Location: Based in Paris
