Job Description

Reliability Engineer: Lichtenburg Purpose: Lead reliability improvement by implementing predictive and preventive maintenance. Ensure high equipment reliability, compliance, and timely reporting on plant performance. Key Responsibilities: Identify root causes of equipment failures and drive corrective actions Support new installations and capital projects Perform ongoing reliability analysis; develop improvement plans Prepare regular reliability reports Plan and schedule engineering work Oversee audit compliance and computerized maintenance management Develop and manage maintenance budget Ensure budget compliance and cost forecasts Support team training, motivation, and development Foster a harmonious, high-performance work environment Ensure regulatory and product compliance Qualifications: B.Eng. or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering GCC Certificate (Mining) Experience: Minimum 8 years relevant experience (2 years in Milling manufacturing, heavy Equipment industry) Technical Competencies: Modern safety standards and maintenance management systems Preventative/predictive maintenance and execution Shutdown and spares management Equipment knowledge (cement manufacturing) Root Cause Analysis and project management Financial, budgeting, and performance management MS Projects proficiency Strong Managing skills to lead a team Behavioural Competencies: Decision-making and analytical skills Team leadership and communication Customer service orientation Cross-functional collaboration and innovation Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines Interpersonal skills; self-motivation; ability to motivate others
