What You’ll Need: A National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering At least 3 years’ experience in machine design & manufacturing Minimum 2 years of hands-on CAD design experience Skills in 2D and 3D CAD (if you talk in assemblies, drawings, and exploded views, you’ll fit in just fine) MS Word and Excel intermediate level You must be self-driven, detail-obsessed, and enjoy both solo engineering missions and team brainstorming Willingness to travel locally and globally to make your designs come to life What You’ll Be Doing: Designing machines that are smart, simple, and efficient Drafting top-quality manufacturing drawings and assembly instructions Creating part specs, BOMs, and production docs Updating designs with engineering change proposals (ECPs) Supporting the production team and technicians, both in-house and on client sites Getting involved in P&IDs, factory layouts, and technical manuals What’s In It For You?
