Italy is the Group's competence center for the design, production, and delivery of Navigation Aids products, as well as for non-Radar Surveillance Products. As a Project Manager at Thales, you will be responsible for customer projects in the Airspace Mobility Solutions domain (NAVAIDS and Non-Radar Surveillance), ensuring project delivery within scope, time, and budget, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Tasks and responsibilities: Ensuring all planning, execution, and acceptance activities throughout project delivery; Representing Thales interests within the assigned area; Analyzing contract content and implementing it into delivery and service packages; Creating and updating project baselines, including cost and schedule; Negotiating with local subcontractors regarding project-related work in cooperation with the purchasing department; Managing customer requests and contract changes to closure; Managing external suppliers; Creating and maintaining project documentation using Thales internal processes and tools; Defining and managing all elements required for successful project delivery (design, maintenance, training, spare parts, documentation); Implementing lessons learned from project delivery and providing feedback to departments; Participating in creating offers, schedules, and conducting cost and risk assessments. Education and Experience: An engineering degree or equivalent qualification; Certification in IPMA or PMI project management (or comparable); Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management within an international business environment; Proven experience in stress management; Proficient in planning tools (MS Project and Excel); Good knowledge of business administration, contract management, and supplier management; Experience in Change Order Management and upselling in ongoing projects, collaborating with Legal, Contracts, and Sales teams; Ability to monitor project performance using relevant indicators (financial, schedule); Good understanding of financial data and business planning; Ability to manage international customers in multi-supplier environments; Excellent spoken and written English skills; Knowledge of Italian language is mandatory.
