Senior Backend Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Professional to join our team. Key Responsibilities : Design and implement core Java / Spring Boot microservices for authentication, data pipelines, and messaging. Implement and automate CI / CD pipelines (GitLab CI / CD) for fast, safe, and repeatable releases across environments. Provision and manage on-premise and AWS resources using Terraform and Ansible. Package services with Docker and operate them on Kubernetes, promoting declarative configuration and GitOps practices. Instrument applications for tracing, metrics, and logs, and participate in on-call rotations to keep MTTR low. Optimize interactions with MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring integrity, performance, and automated schema migrations. Embed security best practices into every stage of the software development lifecycle. Participate in technical design discussions, influence architectural decisions, and document runbooks & standards that raise the bar for all teams. Requirements : Professional experience building backend services in Java with Spring Boot, plus hands-on exposure to DevOps tooling or cloud-native operations. Java mastery, including solid understanding of object-oriented programming, clean code principles, and common design patterns. API craftsmanship, including proven experience designing, documenting, and securing RESTful APIs. CI / CD mindset, including comfort with Git workflows and at least one pipeline system. Containers & Kubernetes, including ability to write Dockerfiles and debug containerized apps. Testing & quality, including habit of writing unit, integration, and e2e tests.
