Report to : Head of Finance Responsible for : Supporting the finance team with a focus on Payables, VAT/fiscal monthly reports, and cash management; with opportunities to develop and act in business support and controlling roles. Main Duties and Responsibilities : Accounts payable activities, including checking supplier master files, creating new suppliers, managing supplier invoices, supporting purchase order creation and status, collecting and managing new contracts, and monthly account reconciliations. Perform daily cash reconciliation, including collecting banking envelopes, counting, and balancing cash. Process petty cash and reconcile weekly. Manage employee expense claims according to Hyatt SOP, and handle sales expense claims paid by company credit card. Conduct daily VAT register checks, prepare VAT monthly reconciliations, and manage the Hyatt Autofatture system. Keep track of intra-EU invoices for Intrastat purposes and prepare entertainment expenses. Prepare monthly accruals for specific departments, review and analyze variances, and present findings to the Assistant Director of Finance. Review preliminary profit and loss figures with the finance team and participate in monthly financial statement reviews. Oversee on-site accounting functions to ensure proper fiscal management and compliance with local, gap, and Hyatt standards. Assist with the quarterly and year-end audit processes.
