The selected candidate will be involved in the development and verification of both Application Software and Target-Specific Software in support of the Store Management Controller, for a major client in the Aerospace sector and for activities in the military domain. A full-time on-site presence at the client’s in Caselle is required for this project. Main responsibilities: Requirements definition; Design activities; Coding activities; Debugging; Definition of test cases and related procedures; Bench Support activities; Structural Coverage Analysis; Verification & Validation (V&V) in accordance with DO-178C and EFA standards. Required technical knowledge: Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language (C, C++, Ada, Java); Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python); Familiarity with version control tools (SVN, Git); Experience with requirements analysis and related tools (DOORS); Knowledge of model-based design and code generation tools (Simulink, SCADE); Basic understanding of real-time operating systems (VxWorks653, PikeOS, Green Hills Integrity); Understanding of embedded real-time systems; Basic knowledge of avionics communication protocols (ARINC 429, CanAero, MIL-STD 1553); Basic knowledge of general-purpose communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, UARTs); Familiarity with software engineering processes and standards (DO-178B/C); Good knowledge of the English language. Optional technical knowledge: Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Access); Scripting languages for database interfacing/automation (JavaScript, VBA). Required education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields.
