Accountant - Fixed Term Contract - Flex Options

Role Purpose The Accountant will assist the Finance Manager and will be responsible for daily accounting activities based on US GAAP, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, banks, and other entries. They will also handle their assigned portion of the month-end closing process. Key Duties and Responsibilities Maintain local and US GAAP-based accounting within Oracle. Review, book, and process supplier invoices and employee expense reports. Manage customer receipt bookings and collections. Prepare and send customer invoices through SDI. Perform bank reconciliations. Prepare VAT reports, Journal Book, F24, and other government-related filings accurately. Complete month-end closings in line with group requirements. Maintain required statutory documentation. Collaborate with the Finance Manager and external fiscal consultants to fulfill tax authority requirements (Intrastat, esterometro, comunicazioni IVA). Create and review intercompany transactions. Minimum Education, Certification, and Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role. Strong analytical skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office. Understanding of regional and US GAAP differences. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a global team. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience within a multinational company. Experience with Oracle EBS and OBIEE reporting.
