Job Description
RINA is currently recruiting for an Infrastructure & Mobility R&D Project Manager to join its office in Genoa or Rozzano (Italy) within the Italy Infrastructure & Mobility Division. Mission You will join the Research & Innovation Unit within the Infrastructures & Mobility Business Unit and work closely with similar functions across the various Business Lines at RINA. You’ll be part of a young and dynamic environment where research and innovation are key pillars of the overall development strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the definition and implementation of R&I strategies, supporting the creation of new solutions and business opportunities. This role offers professional growth, hands-on experience in multidisciplinary projects, and a chance to become a technical reference in your areas of expertise. Key Accountabilities Contribute to the performance of the Research & Innovation Unit by identifying new opportunities in the Buildings and Infrastructure sector, focusing on risks analysis and resilience, including maintaining networks, scouting partners, and developing proposals. Manage R&I projects by coordinating teams, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating across disciplines to transfer results and enhance service offerings. Develop innovation activities by mapping internal competences, identifying opportunities, defining new services, and supporting market transfer of innovations. Participate in national and international proposals and offers related to innovation. Education Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture. A PhD is a plus. Qualifications Expertise in risks analysis, resilience assessment, risk-based mapping, probabilistic analysis, and infrastructure design. 1-3 years of experience considered a plus. Experience with European research projects, collaborations with research institutions, and innovation management. Strong analytical skills, organizational capabilities, and ability to manage multiple projects. Fluent in Italian and English; proficiency in a second language is a plus. Willingness to travel abroad.
