Social network you want to login/join with: RINA is currently recruiting for a Electronic System Engineer to join its office in ROME within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division. The Electronic System Engineer will support the development of tailor-made system solutions that meet specific requirements and will contribute to designing, producing, and using Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE). These solutions aim to add value through design and process optimization and efficiency. The role involves defining system specifications with clear requirements, collaborating with client stakeholders and end-users to understand system needs. Both junior and skilled profiles are welcome. The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include: Drafting project documentation and integration/validation plans, including writing test scenarios. Providing support for tool validation and executing verification tests of ground tools. Preparing technical and programmatic reports, contributing to project milestone reports, and supporting project reviews. Skills: The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of electronic and electrical engineering, along with good practices in risk management and requirements analysis. Skills that will be positively evaluated include: Basic knowledge of laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies. Understanding of voltage, current, power, and efficiency, as well as frequency, time domain, and transfer functions. Knowledge of main design tools like Altium Designer, Kicad, LTSpice, AutoCAD, and Inventor. Basic understanding of communication channels and I/O interfaces (knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 and deterministic Ethernet is beneficial). Basic knowledge of avionics computer architecture and programming elements.
