Technology Consultant

We are looking for a technology consultant with a focus on motion and mechatronics. The Technology Consultant is a technical resource for Rockwell Automation technology and products within their area(s) of expertise, capable of articulating the capabilities and benefits of the portfolio to customers. They deliver proof of concept, provide pre-sales support, and act as a trusted advisor to the sales organization and channel. They are responsible for technical support in presales activities for a specific range of products. The Technology Consultant will serve as the technical product expert within the sales organization for customer pursuits. When required, they will assist in commercial marketing activities, interface with Product Business Units and the EMEA Commercial Engineering team, be the point of contact for product and quality issues, provide post-sales troubleshooting, and act as a local interface with Tech Support. They should be able to support customers during project development and start-up. Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Education Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent experience. Fluency in native language and strong command of English (written & spoken). Ability to work with and gain confidence of senior-level personnel (internal and external) in a highly collaborative, matrixed stakeholder organization. Ability to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively. Ability to align and influence critical stakeholders. Strong support of customer centricity, understanding the importance of satisfying customers and developing goals to improve customer experience. Exhibits strong teamwork, customer service, and organizational skills. Maintains a positive attitude in challenging circumstances. Open to ideas and able to integrate multiple perspectives in decision-making. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met. Capable of managing competing demands, accepting criticism and constructive feedback, and being adaptable and flexible. Willingness to travel within the assigned geography. Proactively closes identified skill gaps. Continuously develops technical capabilities and stays current with product knowledge. Preferred / Plus Knowledge in the following areas is advantageous: Mechatronics - sizing and selection Automation - PLC, I/O, Safety, Networks (Ethernet/IP) OEM machine technology - Packaging, Metal, Converting J-18808-Ljbffr
