Atomic, a specialist recruitment partner in the MedTech space, is representing a fast-growing and innovative medical device company seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to join their expanding clinical operations team across Europe. This is a field-based position ideal for candidates with strong clinical and technical backgrounds who thrive in high-acuity procedural settings. About the Company Our client is a pioneering medical device company developing minimally invasive solutions to address unmet needs in heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. Backed by strong clinical science, the company has received multiple regulatory approvals and is entering a strategic growth phase across Europe and North America. Role Overview The Clinical Support Specialist will serve as the technical expert during interventional cardiology procedures, providing intraoperative support, ensuring protocol adherence, and assisting clinical teams with device handling and troubleshooting. This role plays a critical part in the successful execution of clinical trials and early-stage commercial activities. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site clinical and technical support during interventional cardiology procedures at European clinical sites Deliver real-time troubleshooting and guidance to surgical and interventional teams Ensure adherence to clinical trial protocols and optimal device utilization Conduct hands-on training for physicians, nurses, and research staff Serve as the primary liaison between clinical sites and internal R&D / Clinical Affairs teams Gather procedural insights and user feedback to support product improvement Prepare field reports and contribute to cross-functional discussions Travel frequently across Europe to support clinical cases and training sessions Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline More than 5 years of experience in clinical support, technical field roles, or operating room-based roles within the MedTech industry Familiarity with interventional or minimally invasive medical devices is required Solid understanding of operating room workflow and procedure dynamics Experience supporting Class III or investigational cardiovascular devices is strongly preferred Willingness to travel extensively within Europe, sometimes with short notice Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting What’s Offered Opportunity to join an innovative medical device company shaping the future of interventional cardiology High-impact, visible role contributing to both clinical and commercial success Competitive compensation package based in Europe, including performance bonuses and travel support Career growth within a rapidly expanding international organization To apply or learn more about this opportunity, please contact Atomic.
