Job Title: .NET (C# and VB) and Transact-SQL Developer Location: Madrid, Spain Hybrid Onsite (2-3 days onsite) Fixed term contract 12 Months initial Duration Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented .NET Developer with strong expertise in both C# and VB.NET , along with hands-on experience in Transact-SQL (T-SQL) development. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable applications and backend systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and VB.NET within the Microsoft .NET framework. Develop and optimize complex T-SQL scripts , stored procedures, functions, and triggers for high-performance data processing. Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other developers to translate business requirements into functional solutions. Maintain and enhance existing .NET applications and SQL databases by identifying and implementing improvements. Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and performance. Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple systems and platforms. Ensure code is compliant with security and data protection standards. Create and maintain technical documentation related to application and database development. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in C# and VB.NET , with experience in building Windows and/or web-based applications. In-depth understanding of Transact-SQL (T-SQL) and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience in designing normalized databases, writing efficient queries, and optimizing SQL performance. Familiarity with version control systems like Git or TFS . Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles. Ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent development environments. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
