We’re looking for a Legal Counsel & Compliance Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting the legal, regulatory, and compliance as we continue to scale in the blockchain and fintech space. This position involves hands-on work across corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory analysis. Key Responsibilities Undertake risk analysis and develop and maintain AML/CFT internal policies, ensuring alignment with all applicable regulations to the company. Prepare relevant compliance documentation and enforce internal compliance frameworks. Review and manage KYC/KYB processes, and oversee PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening, establishing protocols for risk-based decision-making. Occasionally, assist the sales department(i.e. reviewing contracts). Conduct regulatory assessments for new products and services to ensure compliance. Draft legal reports and explanatory documentation for internal stakeholders and external clients. Assist in the operational management of the legal department and provide legal support in strategic projects What We’re Looking For Law degree plus a Master’s in Legal Practice and/or specialized postgraduate studies in Business, International, Financial, or Technology Law, with focus on Compliance. 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a B2B company as an in-house lawyer. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Solid knowledge of Compliance. Bonus Points If You Have Previous experience or strong interest in financial products, blockchain, compliance, or tokenization.
