As a Lab Technician Food / Enzyme technology you will perform experiments for food enzyme development projects for several (plant-based) dairy products and ingredient processing. Our client in Rijswijk is an global developer and supplier in food enzymes, cultures, taste and health ingredients and other specialties. As a Lab Technician Food / Enzyme technology you will perform experiments for food enzyme development projects for several (plant-based) dairy products and ingredient processing. You will plan and conduct enzyme biochemistry experiments such as enzyme activity assays using spectrophotometric methods and enzyme incubations in food matrices You will develop automated workflows using liquid and solid handling robots Furthermore you will record, analyze and interpret the obtained results and discuss your experimental work in the team For the position of a Lab Technician Strain Development we are looking for a HBO / Bachelor educated candidate in Biochemistry, Biotechnology and/or Food Technology PhD candidates are not considered for this position You have experience with enzymes and affinity with down-scaled food applications You have experience with and/or driven to quickly learn lab automated workflows As a person, you have strong communications skills (both English and Dutch) Contract via CheckMark Salary indication €3200- gross per month based on a full-time position Full-time position (40 hours//week) Dayshift For more information please contact Na Rae de Jong, narae@checkmark.nl of 088-0021123 Vacancy number: 8550
