In line with our dedication to customer-centricity, we are seeking a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team as a Branded Channel Specialist Sales to join our dynamic team of Unstoppables. Purpose of the Job: To lead and facilitate Cell Cs key consumer sales partners i.e. handset Suppliers, Finance, Marketing, Logistics and Product to ensure the Company Owned and Franchise channel attains revenue target, complies to approved deal costs and ensuring commercial strategy is driven though to each store. Responsible for upholding our handset and product strategy throughout the value chain and ensuring the relevant action is taken to develop and grow the channels. Drive marketing initiatives in store to uphold Brand presence in line with the company strategy and manage customer experience through stores. Main Responsibilities Manage the internal and external stakeholders in respect of Revenue attainment Manage the gross additions and revenues in the branded channel verticals Manage and support commercial decision-making related to channel remuneration, specifically regarding attachment rates on new products and handsets Implement and manage a supplier database Report proactively on supplier contracts pertaining to the achievement of sales objectives due for renewal, expiry or renegotiations Provide insights into annual budgets (sales forecast) and support Opex and Capex budgets in support of Channel Revenue Provide recommendation on sales tactical plans by product and initiative for roll out in Branded channel Drive the Marketing and Product Sales Collaboration Provide insight and manage the briefs on all marketing collateral with the Marketing team including, but not limited to, deal cycle printed material, radio and ABL campaigns Liaise with the Product team on all new product from idea stage to execution on all consumer sales channels including collateral, training and in store activation Manage in conjunction with the field operations and regional teams and marketing the allocation of collateral and sales support into the various stores based on revenue contributions and target market Manage the execution on bespoke offers and products in respect of system rules, changes and developments regarding achievement of sales objectives along with the product team Manages the relationship with the Manufacturers (OEMs) inside Commercial Manage the listing of new and discontinued handset products, providing recommendations as to when to list a product and when to exit based on forecasts and volumes in play Manage forecasts by handset type by channel to logistics and procurement team Ensure sell out of devices in all verticals to target by driving bespoke activation plans and staff incentives in conjunction with Finance and the OEM Ensure a robust and competitive range within Commercial sales and optimal stock levels in channel thus securing minimal write downs Sales & Customer Experience Enablement & Measurement Responsible for the Branded channels achievement of sales revenues, customer acquisition and retentions Drive the weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reviews for Branded Channel including monthly reporting packs Analyse the success of all campaigns and deals in channel Assess the efficacy of in and out store promotions and bespoke deals Recommend changes / improvement based on performance results and drive these into channel Provide recommendation for new store projects get executed and launched along with the respective reporting required Monitor, refine and consistently evolve commissions & incentive structures to support all sales & customer experience objectives in the Branded Channels along with Senior Manager Monitor, refine and consistently evolve commissions & incentive structures to support all sales & customer experience objectives in the Branded Channels along with Senior Manager Translate the Customer & Sales strategy into Sales Channel, business unit & support channel objectives in consultation with relevant stakeholders Manage the sales enablement content repository and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need. Proactively Propose engineered solutions to transform ordinary sales & customer experiences to consistently supersede customer experiences & sales objectives Manage (in alignment with Customer Experience) and drive a customer service culture & retail operations strategy that can be implemented to ensure consistency in the application and delivery of the sales & customer experiences Collaborate with learning and development teams to ensure training & all learning & development supports the customer sales & customer experience strategy Manage the collection, analysis and distribution of Customer Experience Measurement results for the Branded Channels In order to make improvements Manage and drive all customer experience platforms with the areas responsible, ensuring timely resolution of the Branded Channels & support customer issues within SLAs and customer expectations Branded Channel Development & Optimisation Provide research insights on service providers (market size vs market share) and prepare a proposal for development and optimisation for future Manage Sales Channel projects in terms of proposals, Compliance, Confidentiality, Data integrity, Interpret and action on findings from service provider, new store & sales strategy Manage Operational Level Agreements exist for all stakeholders as a core foundation and managed effectively Manage and maintain policies and processes as required, ensuring compliance, consistency, and operational efficiency across the channel Analysis of channel and product performance Manage the Channels profitability Provide recommendations on budget, reports on and manages the spend Manage Capex requests and writes business cases for expansion / store closures Brief additional reporting to BI to provide early alerts on performance or lack to correct timeously Ensures daily, weekly and monthly sales statistics are produced per product category and vertical Budget and Cost Management Management of annual CAPEX budgets for the channel Perform any other Related duties as requested by Management Qualifications Bachelors degree in business administration, sales, marketing or other relevant degree preferred Experience 5 years experience in a Sales and Marketing role, with emphasis on channel profitability and/or retail operations Excellent Knowledge of sales strategy, marketing and retail sales methodologies Sound commercial acumen with reporting and analytical expertise Vendor and stakeholder relationship acumen, proven track record in growing accounts "Cell C is an equal opportunities employer, committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees are treated fairly and with respect, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic."
