Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Description Follow established procedures to maintain the accounting records of the company, have a record and control accounts payable, expenses, invoice, to ensure that the books are accurate. Responsibilities and duties Supervise Accounts Payable area for the Mexican Entity. Ensure invoices and payments are in compliance with local fiscal requirements (cfdi and payment complement). Prepare, review and post journal entries in AP module. Prepare, review and post journal entries in AR module for reconciliate bank account. Reconciliation of Bank Accounts (MXN & Dollars currency) Cash Flow Reports Preparation of Accounts Payable Analysis. Posting for payment of Pedimentos (Customs documentation) Keep payment complements updated on a weekly basis in compliance with tax law. Set the payment run for suppliers. Manage credit card payments and update information for new hires and terminations. Set bank information for new suppliers in the bank system. Support for end of month process with special reports according to needs. Support with special reports and information for external and internal financial & tax audits. Daily review of generic inbox e-mail account for receipt of supplier invoices. Perform all other tasks or responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor. Education, Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. 2 years of experience in finance department including Manufacturing Company. Knowledge of general accounting procedures. Strong ability to review and process correct information and highly problem-solving skills. Excellent analytical, interpretation, and cause/effect relational skills. Excellent follow-up and sense of urgency skills. Be a team player to support finance areas. Must be Honest with high confidentiality level. Excellent organizational skills and can multi-task. Proficient computer skills: MS office, e-mail, data base programs Bilingual in English & Spanish.
