Your day at NTT DATA NTT Italia is seeking a Security & Network Engineer to join one of its most important clients, a leading Italian company at a global level in the naval engineering sector. The Security / Network Engineer will work within the NTT team on-site at the client’s location in Trieste. This role is responsible for managing technical issues related to the client’s network and security infrastructure to ensure their systems remain operational. The resource will gain full governance of the services provided by liaising with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors). What you'll be doing The ideal candidate will operate in a challenging environment and will perform the following activities: Monitor the infrastructure and solutions of the client Provide technical support during business hours for Networking / Security issues Perform second-level troubleshooting on main Networking / Security devices Update corporate systems Manage technical issues with key vendors (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, HPE Aruba) Manage client relationships (internal/external) Required experience: At least two years of experience in technical support and troubleshooting in structured environments Knowledge of Security technologies (Fortinet – Fortigate) and Networking (Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco WLC, Cisco ISE, Aruba Central) Good organizational skills Strong analytical skills Fast learner Teamwork ability Stress management skills English proficiency at B1 level (written and spoken) CCNA certification or higher Workplace location: Trieste About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion global leader in business and technology services.
