Job Description We are seeking a Retail District Manager (W/M) to oversee all Salomon Brand Stores and Factory Outlets in Italy. The main goal is to drive retail business to meet P&L targets by managing store teams, pricing, promotions, and customer service excellence. As part of the Salomon Global Operations Team, your responsibilities include: Achieving financial and P&L goals Setting P&L and KPI targets for your store network in alignment with global retail strategies Developing and executing the annual commercial calendar with store managers Supporting daily store operations and implementing improvements to enhance productivity Managing and training 10-15 store managers and key staff roles Ensuring consistent training programs and recruitment processes Driving individual development and performance improvement plans Monitoring store operations, inventory, loss prevention, and VM standards Overseeing store opening, closing, and refit processes Reporting weekly and monthly business performance to HQ and conducting ad-hoc analyses You will report directly to the Senior District Manager. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of retail management experience At least 5 years managing Brand Stores or Factory Outlets at district level Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field Fluent in English and Italian; French is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to coach teams and analyze business data Additional Information Permanent, full-time contract Location: Italy (preferably around Milan) Travel: approximately 80% across Europe We offer a dynamic work environment with passionate colleagues, a culture of inclusivity, and opportunities for growth in the outdoor industry.
