Infotainment and Sound Systems Engineer

FD Group , an Engineering & Design Consulting Company active throughout Italy and Europe, is looking for a professional to join its team as an Infotainment and Sound Systems Engineer . Responsibilities: Support development and maintenance of infotainment and sound components (interior and exterior) Define and validate system requirements for features such as media, connectivity, navigation, ADAS integration, and smartphone mirroring Coordinate system integration, feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for software releases, diagnostics, and homologation activities Define diagnostic and power/network management strategies for infotainment ECUs Conduct system architecture definition, benchmarking, and functional safety alignment Ensure regulatory compliance, product liability review, and stakeholder alignment Prepare documentation: functional specs, test reports, BOMs, CAN/LIN logs, validation protocols Skills: Functional and diagnostic specifications Software release planning and validation reports Bill of Materials and technical documentation CAN/LIN log analysis and system-level test reports Diagnostic compliance and BAP protocol validation Power and network management strategies System architecture for vision and camera systems Location: Bologna (BO), Emilia Romagna This job posting is open to all genders (Laws 903/77 and 125/91), and to individuals of all ages and nationalities (Legislative Decrees 215/03 and 216/03).
