Job Description
A well-established automotive company is seeking an experienced Temporary Payroll Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years’ payroll experience and be fully proficient in VIP Premier . This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage the full payroll function within strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Process and manage the company’s full payroll function using VIP Premier. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, wages, overtime, and deductions. Maintain and update employee payroll records. Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes. Prepare and submit statutory returns (PAYE, UIF, SDL) on time. Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies. Generate payroll reports for management. Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ proven payroll experience. Proficient in VIP Premier payroll system. Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory requirements. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Confidential and trustworthy with sensitive information. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Additional Details: Temporary position. Competitive remuneration based on experience. Immediate availability preferred.
