Loan Manager

Location Johannesburg, North Requirements: Qualification in Finance, Business Administration, or related 5 years of experience in loan management, banking, or microlending Strong understanding of lending regulations and risk mitigation strategies Proficiency in loan management software and financial analysis tools Responsibilities: Loan Origination and Evaluation: Review and assess loan application for completeness and accuracy Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness of applicants Approve or recommend loans based on risk assessments Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations such as the (NCA, FICA SACRRA Monitor loan performance and proactively address delinquencies Ability to assess credit risk and ROI scenarios Implement credit assurance strategies to mitigate portfolio risk Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor loan officers and support staff Provide training on loan policies, systems, and compliance Operational Oversight: Maintain accurate loan documentation and records Develop and refine loan policies and procedures Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to streamline loan processing systems Client Engagement: Explain loan terms and repayment plans to client Resolve customer complaints and negotiate solutions Promote financial literacy and trust building initiatives How to apply:
