Finance Director

A prominent multinational logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking a Financial Director to join its executive team in Dakar, Senegal. This expatriate role offers the chance to shape financial strategy, drive operational excellence, and contribute to global growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial strategy and advise senior leadership on key decisions. Manage budgets and forecasts, and analyse variances for corrective action. Oversee financial reporting and audits, and ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor cash flow and banking, and optimize funding and capital structures. Lead IT initiatives and ensure global standards and disaster recovery compliance. Ensure strong internal controls and manage tax and insurance programs. Mentor finance staff and build a high-performance team culture. Requirements To Meet Prior To Applying: CPA (US) or CA qualification required. Minimum 10 years accounting experience, including 4 years as a Financial Director. Big 4 audit experience preferred. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley controls and reporting under US GAAP. Exposure to foreign exchange and financial operations in developing countries. Fluent in French and English. Must be in good physical health due to the remote nature of the location How to Apply:
