Junior CAD Operator

Our client is looking for a Junior CAD Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical drawing skills and a keen interest in structural steel design to grow within a specialised and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Produce accurate technical drawings and 3D models. Interpret design briefs, engineering notes, and project specifications. Prepare shop drawings, assembly details, and fabrication layouts. Work closely with project managers, fabricators, and site teams to resolve drawing-related queries. Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 (relevant technical qualification an advantage). Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar essential; Tekla Structures advantageous). Basic understanding of steel fabrication and construction drawings. Attention to detail and accuracy in technical work. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
