Financial Manager

A leading JSE-listed mining company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to bridge finance and operations, ensuring sound financial control and long-term growth. Duties: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to optimise financial performance. Drive costing and pricing strategies, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability. Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms and cost savings. Implement robust processes, procedures, and policies to enhance compliance and streamline operations. Collaborate closely with operational teams to align finance with core business operations. Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Education and Experience: CA(SA) or CIMA qualification is essential. At least 10 12 years post articles experience Proven operational finance experience within a mining, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. Strong background in costing, budgets, and supplier negotiations.
