OSTRICH FARM MANAGER

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience managing livestock or ostrich farms Strong leadership and operational management skills Knowledge of commercial farming and export procedures a plus Must be hands-on, driven, and able to work independently RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Oversee daily operations of the ostrich farm Develop and implement breeding and feeding programs Manage animal health and biosecurity protocols Supervise and train farm staff Maintain and improve infrastructure and equipment Budgeting, cost control, and maximizing profit margins Ensure compliance with relevant agricultural regulations Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, and transporters Report regularly to the owner on performance and developments ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted
